About Popkidz

A warm room and space to run

Popkidz Limited runs other amusement and recreation activities (SIC 93290), registered at Town Ing Mills in Halifax.

The idea is not complicated. Children need somewhere to move about, particularly in a Pennine winter, and the adults who bring them need somewhere to sit down that is warm and has decent coffee. Everything else follows from getting those two things right in the same room.

Sessions are staffed, and the adult who brings a child stays on site and remains responsible for them — we run a play venue, not a childcare service, and that distinction matters both legally and practically.

Parties are run by us, including the setting up and the clearing away. Tell us the date, the numbers, the ages and anything anyone cannot eat, and we will take it from there.
